IDSA Meetups – We Want to Hear from You!

It’s been a busy two weeks for the IDSA! We’ve held three meetups during that time, RSA, Raleigh and the Twin Cities, and we’re just getting started.

For those that attended, thanks for the engaging conversation and feedback on what we hope to accomplish – create an independent source of education and information on identity centric security strategies, by harnessing the collective expertise, enabling vendor collaboration, encouraging ongoing discussion and developing best practices, resources and tools.

That’s a mouthful, but we believe that we have an opportunity to collectively move the industry forward. Our goal is to help organizations implement an identity centric security strategy by starting with a few key success stories, the 20% of organizations that are leading the charge with this approach, and then sharing those stories, tools, best practices, etc, with organizations that are just getting started.

We have some ideas about how to get there, but we need you – the CISO, the identity practitioner, the security practitioner – to validate our guiding assumptions, approve our mission and make it real through assessments and roadmaps, best practices, reference architectures, use cases and more. We need you to help keep us in line with the realities of your day to day, to be the voice of the customer and most importantly, bring your expertise to the table to create deliverables that will make these strategies succeed.

If you are interested in helping to shape the future of identity and security, join us! We’ll be introducing a community forum in the near future, but for now – join our mailing list. We’re looking to do great things and we want you to be a part of it.

The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
